A Special Interview With Joyce Becker

The Locher Room welcomes a very special guest to The Locher Room for a revealing chat on Thursday, March 3, at 3 p.m. ET.

The name Joyce Becker may not be familiar to many soap fans, but she created the successful Soap Opera Festivals back in 1974 with just a handful of stars and the event grew over the years to produce over 2,000 gatherings with over 800 actors and actresses from daytime drama. After working as a reporter for various outlets, Becker found herself drawn into the world of soaps when she interviewed AS THE WORLD TURNS star Eileen Fulton for a magazine called All Day TV in 1973. And she even found herself appearing on one of the soaps when the producers of THE DOCTORS gave her a small role in two episodes as part of a story she was writing.

With all of the stars from all the soaps that she’s worked with over the years, Becker should have plenty of amazing stories to tell, so don’t miss this one!
