AMC’s Cornelius Smith, Jr. Stars in the Romantic New Movie “Love, Take Two”

Tags:

The Hallmark Channel is celebrating brides (and grooms) with their annual “June Weddings” series of original movies. Cornelius Smith Jr., who soap fans will remember as ALL MY CHILDREN’s Dr. Frankie Hubbard, stars as Scott Meyers in the romantic romp Love, Take Two, which premieres on Saturday, June 15, at 9 p.m. ET. Heather Hemmens (ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO; GREY’S ANATOMY) is his gorgeous co-star and love interest in the movie, playing Lily Bellenger.

Shot on location in Squamish B.C, whose magnificent mountains and locale glow in the background of the dramedy, Love, Take Two tells the tale of a pair of exes who reconnect under unusual circumstances. Lily is the executive producer of THE WEDDING COUNTDOWN, a reality competition show; for each episode, three engaged couples go head to head vying for a cash prize of $50,000, and they’re judged by whose nuptials is the most spectacular and romantic of the three.

When one of the couples in the latest episode backs out, Scott and his fiancée are recruited to participate in the competition, but neither of them knew that Scott’s old flame is the beautiful producer. Thrown together due to the show, will the two rekindle their long-lost love as they revisit memories from their shared past, and what will happen to Scott’s fiancée? Come on, this is a Hallmark Movie — you know where this is going!
