AMC Legend Passes Away
The daytime world has lost one of its true legends. David Canary (Adam/Stuart, ALL MY CHILDREN) passed away of natural causes at the age of 77 on November 16 at The Greens at Cannondale in Wilton, Connecticut.
Canary had a career that spanned stage and screen, but daytime audiences remember him best as Pine Valley twins Adam and Stuart Chandler, roles he played for over a quarter of a century. Over those years, the actor earned 16 Daytime Emmy nominations and took home five for Outstanding Actor.
A private funeral service is being held for immediate family, but a memorial tribute is planned for a date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the David Canary Memorial Fund at the Alzheimer’s Association. You can find that link by clicking here.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this difficult time.
