Brandon Barash Previews His New Role on CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS! (EXCLUSIVE)

Tags:

While GENERAL HOSPITAL fans may want to see Brandon Barash back in Port Charles as Johnny Zacchara, they’re just going to have to get their fix of the talented actor in primetime! On Wednesday, April 12, Barash will be playing Scott Davis in an episode of CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS airing on CBS at 10 p.m. ET.

Last seen guest-starring as Ernest Hemingway on TIMELESS, Barash previews to Soaps In Depth that his character of an art broker who gets mixed up in international trouble is a very different role. “That’s all I’ll tell you,” he teases. ‘But it was a lot of fun and very different from Hemingway in TIMELESS.”

MUST SEE: GH Alum Jonathan Jackson Releases Powerful New Message

GH star Matt Cohen (Griffin) has a recurring role on the new season of CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS, but Barash says his scenes were primarily with Tyler James Williams who is best known for starring as Chris in the UPN sitcom EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS and his more recent turn as the ill-fated Noah on THE WALKING DEAD.

“He did a fantastic job,” Barash enthuses. “Most of my scenes were with him. I also worked with the lovely woman who played by girlfriend, Toni Trucks, and we just had one short scene together where we talk on an airplane, but we had some fun improv moments there.”

So don’t miss the episode titled “Cinderella and the Dragon” when it airs in April! And for more from Barash about his other upcoming projects and whether he’d be up to return to GH again, be sure to pick up the new ABC issue of Soaps In Depth magazine, on sale now!
