Chrishell Stause Eliminated from DANCING WITH THE STARS

Tags:

While Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; Amanda, ALL MY CHILDREN) was the only remaining daytime alum competing in DANCING WITH THE STARS she wasn’t able to make it through week eight. This was originally meant to be a double elimination round with each contestant performing two routines and two of them being sent home, but THE REAL co-host Jeannie Mai was forced to remove herself from the competition to undergo emergency surgery on an abscess in her throat. Unfortunately, even though there was only one remaining elimination this round, it was Stause who went home.

Stause and professional dance partner Gleb Savchenko performed a Viennese waltz to “Love on the Brain” by Rihanna, and while the judges found her graceful and elegant, they also picked apart some details like her crooked neck and rough transitions. Her final scores were three eights giving her a total of 24 out of 30.

The second performances were a dance relay, and Stause joined Nev Schulman and Nelly in performing the cha cha. Carrie Ann Inaba judged this round, giving Schulmann three bonus points and Stause and Nelly two each

This gave Stause a total score of 26 which put her in seventh out of eighth place this round. While Nelly was actually in the bottom with only 23 points, fan votes saved him and the bottom two were Stause and Skai Jackson. All three judges chose to save Jackson, which meant that Stause’s run on DWTS sadly came to an end this week.
