Chrishell Stause Opens up About Competing on DANCING WITH THE STARS

Tags:

Daytime alum Chrishell Stause was able to succeed in the high-pressure world of high-end real estate in SELLING SUNSET, but how will she fare in the reality competition series DANCING WITH THE STARS? We’ll find out when the new season premieres on ABC on Monday, Sept. 14! “If I can sell multi-million dollar houses, I can sell some dance moves!” she enthused when her casting on DWTS was announced. “Get ready, America!”

Stause earned legions of fans when she played Amanda Dillon on ALL MY CHILDREN from 2005 until the soap’s end in 2011. She then moved to DAYS OF OUR LIVES to play Jordan Ridgeway in 2013, and even made a brief appearance as Bethany on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS in 2016. Her 2019 return to DAYS even netted her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Performer!

While Stause’s professional dance partner won’t be revealed until the season premiere, she has shared some thoughts on Instagram as she prepares to make her dance floor debut to “Raise Your Glass” by P!nk. “I can feel pain in muscles I was not aware I possessed!” she joked as the rehearsals began. “The dancing lesson I learned today: Whatever feels natural, do the opposite!” She also shared some video of her practicing her spins that you can see by swiping through her Instagram post below.

Despite struggling with her dance moves, the actress-turned-reality-star is having an absolute blast. “I can’t put into words how much fun I am having and how much I am pushing myself to do something I never thought I could!” Stause declared. “Life is short — say yes even if it terrifies you! I hope you guys vote for me on Sept. 14 because I want to be around to play in the sequins and glitter for a long time, hopefully. I will try not to fall flat on my face, and if I do, you have my blessing to point and laugh.”

So make sure you tune in for the season premiere of DANCING WITH THE STARS at 8 p.m. ET on ABC to see how Stause does and make sure to vote if you like what you see!
