Brad Maule Returns to General Hospital

It’s a blast from the past as Brad Maule returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Tony Jones! He’ll be back for a very special episode in November, but likely as a ghost since Tony died back in 2006. Entertainment Weekly broke the story with a handful of sneak peek images from the episode.

In the episode, Lucas finds himself in a tight spot because he finds out that Julian has been blackmailing Brad. And while Julian is his birth father, Tony was Lucas’ adopted father, and he dearly misses him. But it seems like Tony is going to be visiting his son from the great beyond to hopefully offer Lucas some helpful advice to deal with the chaotic drama in his life.

Rumors had been flying fast and furious about Maul’s return to GH after Leslie Charleson (Monica) posted photos of him and Ryan Carnes (Lucas) in the soap’s studio in early October. She quickly deleted the photos from social media, but the damage was done. Thankfully, now the news has been confirmed, and fans can look forward to Tony’s return — even if only for one episode — during November Sweeps!
