That’s Mandy Musgrave Playing Carol on GENERAL HOSPITAL
That’s Mandy Musgrave playing Carol Lockhart on GENERAL HOSPITAL for a handful of episodes starting on June 24. “Had the pleasure of stepping on to GH for a moment,” the actress tweeted. “Blown away by their work ethic and charisma! Only takes 10 minutes to understand why that well-oiled machine works so well. Chad Duell (Michael) and Steve Burton (Jason) were angels! Princes among men. Thank you, GH!”
Carol Lockhart is the Dawn of Day member who took the fall for Shiloh when Willow’s father, David Miller, died of a drug overdose. Jason and Michael tracked her down in Beecher’s Corners to see if she could give them any evidence that could help them bring Shiloh down once and for all. She had some crucial information that could link the cult leader to the death of Willow’s father, but will it be enough? And will Dawn of Day let her talk?
If the name sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because Musgrave is married to Matt Cohen, who played Griffin Monroe from 2016-2019. And this isn’t Musgrave’s first appearance in daytime — she played Chelsea Benson (actually Bo and Billie’s daughter, Georgia Brady) on DAYS OF OUR LIVES from 2004-05.
Musgrave has continued to appear as Carol as the Dawn of Day story continues, but how much longer will she be around, and will she be instrumental in bringing Shiloh down? Stay tuned to find out, and for more GH casting news, keep reading the ABC edition of Soaps In Depth magazine.
