Cassandra James Lands a Role on Vinessa Antoine’s Series, DIGGSTOWN

Fans of GENERAL HOSPITAL who are watching Vinessa Antoine (ex-Jordan) on DIGGSTOWN will see a familiar face from Port Charles guest-starring on the Canadian legal drama in season two. “Surprise!” Cassandra James (Terry) announced on Twitter. “Shooting DIGGSTOWN with my GH sister Vinessa Antoine.”
This was in response to Antoine’s own tweet breaking the news with a selfie she snapped on the show’s set in Canada. “Just a couple of gals making history,” the GH alum declared. “First black person to lead a dramatic show in Canada and first trans woman on a soap together. Wow! Welcome, sister. So proud to have you here.”

Antoine left GH in September of 2018 to take the role of attorney Marcie Diggs in the CBC series, which is currently shooting its second season. A few months earlier, in June, James first appeared in Port Charles as Liz’s old college friend, Dr. Terry Randolph. And now the two have been reunited on DIGGSTOWN!
There are no details yet as to who James will be playing in her episode, or when that will air in Canada. There has still been no information on when American fans of Antoine’s will be able to watch DIGGSTOWN in the United States, but we will keep you up to date as soon as anything is announced.
