Watch Hudson West’s Final Performance on DANCING WITH THE STARS: JUNIORS

Tags:

Unfortunately, GENERAL HOSPITAL actor Hudson West (Jake) was eliminated in the second round of competition on DANCING WITH THE STARS: JUNIORS. “I wish I had lasted longer,” he tweeted, “but it was a great experience, I had a lot of fun, met lots of new friends and learned how to dance! I was grateful for the opportunity!” West and partner Kameron Couch performed a paso doble to “4 Minutes” by Madonna fat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland, and while their total score of 22 was in the mid-range, and three other pairs scored lower, after the studio audience vote, West and Couch were eliminated. The pint-sized GH star did a great job in the superhero-themed dance, and you can watch the entire routine right here.

In the first week of competition, he and partner Kameron Couch performed a cha-cha to Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” and were more than safe with a score of 22. If you happened to miss that episode, you can watch West meeting his partner and getting his first coaching from Hayley Erbert in the first video, then the actual performance in the second!

In the first week, Tripp Palin and Addison Osta Smith were eliminated, but West’s scores placed him towards the top of the pack, so he easily made it through to the following episode. Although West has been removed from the competition, he’ll likely be back for a big finale number, so keep tuning in every Sunday evening at 8 p.m. ET on ABC to see. “I am so excited for this show and I know you guys are going to love it!” the GH actor shared on Instagram.

West, who has been playing Elizabeth’s son, Jake Spencer, on GH since April of 2016, was partnered with professional dancer Kameron Couch, and mentored by Hayley Erbert. “I am so grateful that I get to work with these amazing and fun ladies!” he gushed.

He competed against other young celebrities like reality star Honey Boo Boo, spelling bee champ Akash Vukoti, Stevie Wonder’s daughter, Mandla Morris, and BLACK-ISH star Miles Brown. Each contestant will be partnered with a young professional dancer and mentored by an adult professional. DANCING WITH THE STARS: JUNIOR is hosted by DANCING WITH THE STARS season 25 winner, Jordan Fisher, and finalist Frankie Muniz. The judges are Emmy Award-winning choreographer Mandy Moore, professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, and DANCING WITH THE STARS: ATHLETES champion, Adam Rippon.
