GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Laura Wright Reveals How She Broke Her Foot
Ouch! Please join us in wishing GENERAL HOSPITAL star Laura Wright (Carly) a speedy recovery as she’s broken her foot! “Yep, I fell down the stairs over a week ago and broke my foot,” she confirmed on Instagram. “Can’t walk for six weeks. I get to wear this sexy black cast for four and Wes Ramsey (Peter) is a saint! Thank you, baby, for taking care of me!”

One little tumble and everything changes. Wright had to cancel her flight to Prague with her daughter, Lauren (luckily getting a full refund on her plane tickets from Delta airlines!), but promised fans on Twitter that she would still be attending the BFF Tour she has scheduled with GH castmate Steve Burton (Jason) that is running from August 19-25. “Yes! I’m still heading east for the BFF tour!” she announced, joking, “Stevie B is gonna carry me!”
The actress also shared a photo of herself on her KneeRover scooter alongside beau Ramsey on a scooter that GH co-star Kin Shriner (Scott) tweeted: “Scooter looks familiar!” And the one Ramsey is riding down the hall alongside Wright does resemble the one that Shriner had been using in real-life and on the show after requiring surgery on his foot following a boating accident! There’s no word yet whether or not GH will be writing Wright’s injury into Carly’s storyline or if they’ll try to find a way to film around it.
