Marcus Coloma Is the New Nikolas on GENERAL HOSPITAL

Tags:

That’s Marcus Coloma as the new Nikolas Cassadine on GENERAL HOSPITAL! The actor made his surprise first appearance in the Halloween episode that aired on Oct. 31. “I feel so honored and just humbled to be a part of this world,” the actor expressed in a video shot backstage at the soap and posted shortly after his debut. “It’s fantastic what the writers have been doing. All the actors are just incredibly talented. And the fans are the most passionate fans I’ve ever seen. And I really am looking forward to you guys seeing what we have coming up, so keep watching!”

The character was last seen in 2016 when Nikolas was shot by Valentin and fell to his presumed death. Of course, a body was never found, so fans remained confident the Cassadine prince would one day return to Port Charles alive and well. Especially once Ava’s psychic friend was unable to contact Nik’s spirit!

GH marks Coloma’s daytime debut, although the actor has appeared in some sudsy primetime series like POINT PLEASANT, SOUTH BEACH, and ONE TREE HILL. Viewers might also recognize him from guest appearances on shows like MAJOR CRIMES, LUCIFER, THE MENTALIST, and DROP DEAD DIVA or TV movies like Adam & Eve, False Profits, and Portrait of Love.
