GENERAL HOSPITAL Recaps — “Kevin” Helped the Cops Track a Killer
A lot can happen in a day in Port Charles, so it’s easy to get lost. If you’ve missed anything that happened over the last week or so on the soap, our GENERAL HOSPITAL recaps can help you get back up to speed in no time!
With Ava prepared to shoot Griffin over Kiki’s death, Julian and Kevin-imposter Ryan interceded and hid her gun. Griffin, who was eventually exonerated, didn’t press charges… but Sasha revealed Ava had roofied her. When Ava became a suspect in her daughter’s murder, Ryan simply lied to give her an alibi — thus providing himself one. Unaware they were working with the killer, the PCPD — with help from “Kevin” — determined Kiki and Mary Pat had been taken out by the same person.
Carly Poked the Bear
Ava couldn’t bring herself to go to Kiki’s funeral… until Michael showed up with Avery. While locals honored Kiki, Ryan stuck by Ava’s side. At the grave, however, she lashed out, assuming everyone believed she deserved to lose her daughter. Ava then attacked Carly before vowing to make sure Kiki’s killer paid. Ironically, she then turned to “Kevin” for support. Laura asked “Kevin” for professional advice and even passed on condolences for Ava, only to have him hand her divorce papers! Carly offered to get to the bottom of what was wrong with Laura’s husband and, while feeling him out, revealed she knew the mystery patient was named Wilson!
The Walls Closed in on Valentin
After warning Valentin she wouldn’t lie to the cops about her paternity, Sasha prepared to skip town. Nina moved them both into Wyndemere for safety, but Sasha was still determined to leave. Anna and Finn tricked Obrecht into coming back to Port Charles. Needing help, Obrecht blackmailed Valentin by revealing that she’d seen him take Madeline’s DNA. Not wanting his secret revealed, Val turned to Peter (who went on a date with Maxie!) for help. With Spencer suspicious of Valentin and Sasha, his uncle was holding his election hack over him. Sonny cautioned Spencer to decide what kind of person he wanted to be. Nina, meanwhile, completely undermined Lulu and Valentin’s efforts to talk to Charlotte about bullying.
Sam Was Pulled Into a New Mystery
Hit hard by his first round of immunotherapy, Oscar asked Alexis to prepare his will. Surprisingly, he asked that Jason be named the executor. Sam was thrilled to see Jason and Drew (reluctantly) bonding, but her focus was thrown when she received a blast from her grifter past — namely, the obituary of one of her former pseudo husbands. She and Curtis determined that someone at Mike’s daycare facility had a subscription to the Arizona paper which had printed the obituary. Unfortunately, in questioning the patient (as well as Marcus and Yvonne), they got no real information. Too bad they didn’t know to ask volunteer Daisy, who knew more than anyone suspected!
Did Margaux Give up?
After thinking long and hard, Margaux opted not to pursue a case against her mother. She told Sonny he had made her see things differently. In fact, she was now planning to move past her efforts to bring down Sonny and focus on finding Kiki’s killer. The D.A. gave Drew the infamous flash drive — no strings attached. But it didn’t sound like she was actually ready to give up on Sonny! Meanwhile, Franco and Liz postponed their wedding.
