GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Ryan Paevey Urges Fans to “Make Sure to Watch” His New Movie!

If you’re one of the many fans missing Ryan Paevey on GENERAL HOSPITAL as the late Nathan West, we’ve got some good news for you! The handsome actor will be back on your TV screens in June in the new Hallmark Movie Marrying Mr. Darcy! “And that’s that,” Paevey shared on Instagram. “Just finished ADR for Marrying Mr. Darcy. Make sure to watch on June 2 on Hallmark Channel!” ADR is Hollywood-talk for Automatic Dialogue Replacement, or looping, where the actor re-records their dialogue either to improve quality or to reflect script changes.

In this sequel to the popular Unleashing Mr. Darcy, Elizabeth Scott (Cindy Busby) and Donovan Darcy (Paevey) are in love and engaged to be married. Heck, even his disapproving Aunt Violet (played by Frances Fisher) has come around and wants to help plan the wedding. But as a small autumn wedding begins to grow into something bigger, Elizabeth fears she’s making a big mistake. And with Donovan throwing himself into work and being distant, Elizabeth begins having second thoughts about marrying Mr. Darcy.

Will true love win out in the end? Well, it’s a Hallmark Channel romance, so what do you think? Paevey credits the viewers for helping make the first movie such a success that they got to make a sequel to continue Donovan and Elizabeth’s story. “I think the fans are a hundred percent to be given credit,” he told ExtraTV. Although he also admitted that people shouldn’t expect a “Marrying Mr. Paevey” anytime soon! “I’m missing fifty percent of that equation,” the actor joked. That’s right — he’s still single! “I’m a workaholic!” he explained. “I don’t even have a dog. I have a thriving houseplant!”

After you check out the trailer below, be sure to tune in to Hallmark Channel on Saturday, June 2, at 9 p.m. ET to watch Paevey in the delightfully romantic Marrying Mr. Darcy. It’ll hopefully take some of the sting out of not seeing him in Port Charles anymore.
