GENERAL HOSPITAL Spoilers 8/22/18 — Drew Vows to Stop Margaux!
The truth always comes out, and in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers, it’s just a matter of time before it does. Brad is desperate to cover his tracks even as Julian searches for Wiley’s birth mother, Maxie wonders what’s going on with Peter, and Drew is determined to figure out what Margaux is hiding!
Hoping to not only make sure Lucas and he get to keep their adopted son but also cover up the fact that he switched babies with Nelle, Brad has enlisted Julian to help (telling him a version of the truth). And now a nervous Brad makes a desperate call. “Have you made any headway on how to keep Wiley?” he asks. Meanwhile, Alexis visits Diane in her office to go over the case. “Why would the mother reconsider the adoption?” she asks. And at the hospital, Julian opens up to Kim about the family drama (but only to a certain extent!). “I don’t understand how this is happening,” he laments. Might he be able to use Kim to learn the identity of the birth mother?

Unaware of the baby switch, Michael is consumed with grief over losing his child, and seeing how much his son is hurting, Sonny offers some sage advice. “Don’t make the same mistake I did,” he urges. But will Michael listen to his father?
At the Metro Court, Maxie is having lunch with Nina but she’s distracted by what’s going on across the room. “What is wrong with Peter?” she wonders aloud. Peter, now that he owns the Invader, wants to make his paper a force to be reckoned with, and knows that the new D.A. is part of a big story. But Margaux warns: “I am off limits, Mr. August.” Drew can tell that there’s something fishy about Margaux and plans to date her until he can figure out exactly what that is. “There is something going on with that woman,” he informs Curtis, “and I am gonna find out what.”
