GENERAL HOSPITAL Alum TK Weaver Teases His New Nickelodeon Role
Fans were upset when the role of Danny on GENERAL HOSPITAL was recast, but former portrayer TK Weaver has been enjoying his summer playing basketball and football, and is currently taping a role for Nickelodeon! “Will let you know when my episode will air,” he shared on Instagram. In the hashtags, he indicated it was his first audition in a while and he’d taken a break, but now he’s back in the game.
“My part is small, but I’ve been having an absolute blast on set,” Weaver reported in a follow-up post. “Meeting new friends. Playing basketball.” And hey, who wouldn’t have fun at a studio that includes games like basketball and air hockey?
Weaver made his GH debut in May of 2016 and during his time as Danny was nominated for two Young Artist Awards and won a Young Entertainer Award for his daytime work. The character of Sam and Jason’s son was recast in May of 2019 when Porter Fasullo took over the role.
We’ll be sure to update you just as soon as Weaver reveals what the project is he’s working on and when you can watch it. Stay tuned for that, and for more on your favorite GH stars — past and present — keep reading the ABC edition of Soaps In Depth magazine.
