GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Vanessa Marcil Suffered a Devastating Miscarriage

Tags:

Our thoughts are with GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda), who has lost the baby she was expecting with fiancé MC. Someone used the actress’ Instagram to share a lovely photo of the couple and share the sad news. “Our hearts are with Vanessa and MC who have lost baby OPM,” they wrote. “Thank you for respecting their privacy as they heal and thank you for sharing all of your personal stories. You are not alone.”

Last spring, Marcil asked fans for help in selecting the perfect wedding dress for her wedding to MC, and then on November 13, revealed that she was pregnant. “It’s baby time,” she posted. “After six miscarriages, we are saying prayers for OPM.” And on January 8, she shared a photo of her bump and shared that they were expecting a baby girl. Marcil has one son, 15-year-old Kassius, from her previous relationship with Brian Austin Green, and MC has a daughter, Riley.

After the death of her father, Peter Ortiz, back in September, Marcil had another scare when her mother, Patricia Marcil Ortiz, fell seriously ill with the flu and police had to help get inside her mom’s house so they could rush her to the hospital.Thankfully, Patricia is back home now and on the road to recovery.

Our hearts go out to Marcil. MC, and their entire family during this difficult time.
