General Hospital's Vanessa Marcil Pregnant!

Congratulations to GENERAL HOSPITAL star Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda), who has revealed that she is pregnant with a baby girl via an Instagram photo of her new puppy, Rocky, snuggling against her growing baby bump! “The GIRLS,” she captioned the super cute pic.

This past spring, the actress was asking fans for help in choosing a dress for her wedding to fiancé MC, and on Nov. 13, she revealed that they are adding to their family! “It’s baby time,” Marcil shared on Instagram. “After six miscarriages we are saying prayers for OPM.”

We’re not completely sure what she meant by “OPM,” but after six miscarriages, we like one commenter’s suggestion of “Our Precious Miracle.” Because that’s exactly what this is. Marcil has one son, 15-year-old Kassius, from a previous relationship with Brian Austin Green. And her fiancé, MC, has a daughter, Riley. This will be their first child together. Marcil has found success in primetime series like BEVERLY HILLS, 90210 and LAS VEGAS as well as Lifetime movies like The Wrong Mother, but she will always be beloved to GH viewers for her Emmy-winning role of Brenda Barrett. And while fans would love to see Marcil back in Port Charles — a recent Twitter exchange between her and Maurice Benard (Sonny) led many to suspect a comeback was in the works — with an upcoming wedding and a baby, Marcil will likely be too busy to reprise her fan-favorite role.

We wish Marcil nothing but the best for her future with MC and the rest of their family. And believe us when we say this is going to be one good looking kid!
