Watch GENERAL HOSPITAL's Maurice Benard in 'The Ghost and the Whale'

At long last, fans can see GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Maurice Benard (Sonny) starring in The Ghost and the Whale!

With the film’s release on Digital HD, On Demand and other platforms like Amazon and iTunes, Benard tells Soaps In Depth that “finally, now people will be able to see me in this very different role.”

The emotional drama follows the spiritual journey of Benard’s bipolar character, Joseph Hawthorne, who is accused of murder after his wife mysteriously dies at sea. The film was co-produced by his wife, Paula, and the actor couldn’t be more proud.

“If it wasn’t for Paula, this film would not have been made,” Benard declares. “I’m sure of it. I couldn’t be more proud of her. The entire cast and crew worked very hard and should all be proud.”
