Tyler Christopher is Not Returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL — Read His Farewell to Fans!
The rumors can be put to rest — a rep for GENERAL HOSPITAL has now confirmed that Tyler Christopher will not be returning as Nikolas Cassadine.
Once the news was made official, the actor took to Twitter to reach out to his fans. “Thank you all for your kind words,” he wrote. “You’re the best fans in the world. I will miss you! #whatarun”

Christopher also reminded fans he would still be attending a GH Fantasy Weekend event this Sunday, Sept. 18, with his former co-stars Laura Wright (Carly), Ryan Paevey (Nathan), Dominic Zamprogna (Dante), William DeVry (Julian), and Vinessa Antoine (Jordan). “Still coming to Baltimore on Sunday,” he posted. “Come see one of my last appearances!”
Christopher’s temporary recast, Nick Stabile, has tweeted, “I would love to go back. Fingers crossed!” but when asked about the possibility of the SUNSET BEACH alum taking over the role on a more permanent basis, the GH rep had no comment.
