Bankrupt By Beanies is a short documentary film made by Chris Robinson Jr. for his Documentary Production class at The University Of Arizona about his father’s unusual scheme. Chris Robinson (ex-Rick, GENERAL HOSPITAL) had the idea to invest in Beanie Babies as a potential way to put his kids through college. Unfortunately, he spent around $100,000 on the little stuffed animals, but never sold any to recoup his investment. You can watch the entire eight minute documentary below as the actor explains exactly what happened and the rest of the family weighs in with their own perspectives.
