Jackson Lands ABC Pilot Role!

Following in the footsteps of GLEE and SMASH, ABC is hoping to jump on the musically-driven series bandwagon! The network’s ABC Studios production arm has cast Daytime Emmy winner Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky, GENERAL HOSPITAL) in the central role of Avery in the pilot for NASHVILLE. According to Deadline, the drama will center around the Tennessee city’s music scene and its rising and fading stars, including Jackson’s Avery, a sexy bad boy musician and aspiring songwriter.
