OLTL Alum Chappell Speaks Out

Back in the mid 1990s, Crystal Chappell spent two years playing Maggie Carpenter on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Along with the rest of the daytime world, the soap vet — currently starring as DAYS OF OUR LIVE’s Carly, and who also won an Emmy for her portrayal of GUIDING LIGHT’s Olivia — is still mourning the loss of her former soap home and ALL MY CHILDREN.

“I got to know the cast and crew of One Life To Live, so that was a real privilege,” Chappell tells Soaps In Depth. “I grew up watching One Life To Life, and so I am devastated and sad to hear of the cancellations. I wish everyone the best. Great things are coming for them. I send out my most heartfelt gratitude to Agnes Nixon for bringing both All My Children and One Life to Live to me.”
