Soap Alums on DANCING WITH THE STARS Week Five Recap

Tags:

It was ‘80s night this week on DANCING WITH THE STARS and while soap alum Anne Heche (Vicky/Marley, ANOTHER WORLD) went home last time, it was unfortunately PASSIONS star Jesse Metcalfe (Miguel) who got the chop this round. Let’s take a look at how it all went down:

Jesse Metcalfe

The actor danced a tango to “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” from Tears for Fears with professional partner Sharna Burgess, but the judges were quick to call out his numerous mistakes. His technique didn’t measure up to the level of his performance, and his connection to Sharna was also lacking. His final scores were a seven and two sixes for a total of 19 out of 30 points.

Chrishell Stause

Stause, who has appeared on ALL MY CHILDREN (Amanda), DAYS OF OUR LIVES (ex-Jordan), and even THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS (ex-Bethany), is obsessed with New Kids on the Block, so she was excited to dance to their song, “You Got It (The Right Stuff). She and partner Gleb Savchenko were judged to be sexy, but lacking in enough cha cha moves. Stause also received two sixes and a seven for a total score of 19 out of 30.

Their scores placed Metcalfe and Stause at the bottom for the week, but after the audience voting, she was safe and the PASSIONS alum was joined in the bottom two by football player Vernon Davis. And when it came time for the judges to choose which one to save, Davis turned out to be their pick, meaning Metcalfe was eliminated. Can Stause’s fans keep voting for her to keep her out of the bottom again? Tune in next week and find out!
