Soap Alums on DANCING WITH THE STARS Week Six Recap

Tags:

This season of DANCING WITH THE STARS began with three soap alums competing. But after Anne Heche (Vicky/Marley, ANOTHER WORLD) and Jesse Metcalfe (Miguel, PASSIONS) were eliminated in weeks four and five, only Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; Amanda, ALL MY CHILDREN) is left in the running! How did she do this week? Let’s take a look!

This round, Stause and professional partner Gleb Savchenko performed a contemporary routine to “Stars” by Grace and the Nocturnals, a song the actress said she listened to on repeat after losing her parents. Stause dedicated this dance to her father and mother, both of whom she lost to lung cancer in recent years. The judges were impressed with the emotion of her performance but still pointed out some of her technical faults. In the end, she was awarded three eights for a total of 24 out of 30.

Stause’s score of 24 tied her with Nelly to land her towards the bottom of the middle of the pack, but it was also enough to keep her safe this week. Although Skai Jackson had the lowest score of everyone this round, viewer votes saved her and the judges were forced to choose between Johnny Weir and Vernon Davis. in the end, it was former pro footballer Davis who was eliminated this round.

Make sure you come back next episode to see what kind of routine Stause will be dancing and if our final remaining soap alum can stay in the competition!
