Soap Alums on DANCING WITH THE STARS Week Two Recap

Tags:

Although Chrishell Stause was at the bottom of the rankings from last week’s performances, the soap alum squeaked through and will continue to hit the floor on DANCING WITH THE STARS! In this week’s episode, basketball star Charles Oakley was the first celebrity contestant eliminated by the judges with runner-up Carole Baskin living to dance another day. Let’s take a look at how the three soap alums did in their second turn on the dance floor!

Anne Heche

ANOTHER WORLD alum Anne Heche (Vicky/Marley) and professional partner Keo Motsepe performed a foxtrot to OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars” and the judges were impressed with her improvement week to week, offering her some more things to work on while giving her three sixes for a total score of 18 out of 30.

Chrishell Stause

Soap hopper Chrishell Stause (Amanda, ALL MY CHILDREN; ex-Jordan, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) and partner Gleb Savchenko were markedly improved over last week with their Rumba to “This Is Me” from the musical The Greatest Showman. The trio of judges praised her development as a dancer while suggesting she work on her footwork and scoring her with three sixes for an 18 out of 30 score this week.

Jesse Metcalfe

Former PASSIONS star Jesse Metcalfe (Miguel) danced the rumba with partner Sharna Burgess to “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac and the three judges were impressed enough with his performance to score him with two sevens and a six for a total score of 20 out of 30.

Based on the judges’ scores, Metcalfe is near the top, and Heche and Stause are resting comfortably in the middle of the pack so none of them are in any danger of being eliminated next week. Tune in next Monday to see what routines the soap alums dance next and if they can keep getting better to avoid going home as the competition gets more challenging!
