The actor joined the cast of ATWT in 1996 playing Diego Santana/Umberto Malzone until the character met an untimely end during his wedding to Lily, kicking off a whodunit murder mystery. After that, Picket moved to Bay City to play the malevolent Scott Guthrie on ANOTHER WORLD. In primetime, he starred with Annie Potts and Lorraine Toussaint in the drama ANY DAY NOW and the Lifetime series WILD CARD with Joley Fisher and Rae Dawn Chong among numerous guest appearances in other shows.
Eventually, Picket opted to retire from acting to remain in New York City with his wife and two children, starting what would be the first of several companies in the telecommunications and technology area. (Though he has continued to act here and there since then!) He’ll have plenty to talk about, so don’t miss it!
