Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom End Their Marriage
Soap stars Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom have announced that they are separating after 10 years of marriage.
“Cady and Jon here,” they shared in a joint Instagram post. “We are taking this opportunity to make a short statement about our relationship status. It may be obvious to some based on our posts that we’ve taken some time apart. After serious consideration, we have decided that our goals have been taking us in different directions and to end our marriage.
“We remain friends and wish each other every happiness,” they continued. “As people who work in the public eye, it can be difficult to have a private life. Regardless, we ask for your kind consideration in this matter.”
McClain is best known for playing Dixie on All My Children, and Lindstrom for his roles as Kevin and his evil twin, Ryan, on General Hospital. But the two met back when they took over the roles of Rosanna and Craig, respectively, on CBS sudser As The World Turns. After four years together, the couple tied the knot on Valentine’s Day 2014.
Fans who follow McClain on social media know that she has been sharing photos and stories of her work in New York City after traveling to the East Coast in late January of this year. While Lindstrom has remained based in Los Angeles where he continues to work on GH while also promoting his new novel, Hollywood Hustle.
