General Hospital Spoilers 5/8/24: Gregory Explodes!

You can cut the tension with a knife in today’s General Hospital! Blaze’s excitement could be short-lived, Laura is stunned by Jordan’s news, Sam asks Jason for a favor, Ava can’t believe her ears, and Gregory blasts Finn!

Natalia has been running Blaze’s life and career with an iron fist, and the look on her face seems to indicate she’s ready to throw cold water on her daughter’s excitement. “I think it’s gonna be my best one yet,” Blaze announces confidently. Will Natalia agree?

Laura is taken aback by Jordan’s update. “That’s moving forward already?” she asks, confused. Jordan nods and adds, “It just got a big boost.” Does the mayor have a problem with the redevelopment plans that Drew seems determined to fast-track?

Sam resigned herself to Dante remaining on the police force, but knowing he’s investigating the Pikeman organization, she heads to her ex to get some more information and reassurance. “Promise me that he won’t be walking into something dangerous,” she begs. But can Jason even make that promise?

Ava had been getting closer and closer to Sonny but with him not taking the correct dosage of his medication, his moods and behavior have been all over the place. So she’s horrified when Kiki’s name comes up in conversation. “How dare you throw my daughter’s murder in my face,” Ava hisses.

With Chase and Brook Lynn’s wedding approaching, things are naturally getting tense, and not just for the bride and groom! It looks like Gregory isn’t reacting well to the suggestion he skip the rehearsal dinner and rest up for the big day. “By all means son,” Gregory snaps at Finn, “you lecture me on proper wedding etiquette!” Finn may have slept with his father’s fiancée before their wedding back in the day, but there won’t be any drama like that at Brook Lynn and Chase’s big day, will there?
