Download Jophielle Love’s Song and Support a Worthy Cause!

Not only did Jophielle Love help compose the song, “Shine,” which she sang as Violet on General Hospital, but it earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Best Original Song! And now, you can finally download the tune for yourself… and help raise money for a very worthy cause when you do!

“Hi everyone,” Love said in an Instagram video. “My first song, “Shine,” is finally available on all digital platforms! I am, of course, really, really excited that it is nominated for a Daytime Emmy. But even more important — and for this, I need your help… This song is about bringing light into the world. So a big part of the proceeds will be donated to Save the Children who helps kids in need in the middle of horrible wars.

“Make sure you help us spread the light,” he concluded. “Let’s shine together and stay tuned for more!”

Musician Douglas Ladnier, who helped compose the song, shared a video on his own Instagram that features photos and video of himself and Love working on the tune in the studio all set to the beautiful music they made.

The talented Love joined the cast of GH as Violet Finn back in 2019 and immediately charmed viewers with her scene-stealing performances. And while appearing on the soap, she has also appeared in shows like Grey’s Anatomy and FBI International as well as films like We Have a Ghost, Renfield, and Five Nights at Freddy’s. She also has a recurring role on ABC’s Will Trent.
