Join Rosemary Prinz To Celebrate AS THE WORLD TURNS’ 65th Anniversary

The Locher Room is celebrating the 65th anniversary of AS THE WORLD TURNS with a special show featuring the legendary Rosemary Prinz on Thursday, April 1, at 12 noon ET at this YouTube link!

Native New Yorker Prinz has had a long career in stage and screen but is best known for her work in daytime. She made her television debut in 1954 on the short-lived soap FIRST LOVE, but her most famous role was that of Penny Hughes on ATWT, a role she played from 1956-68. She returned to the soap many times over the subsequent years, with her last being in 2000. Penny’s relationship with Mark Rydell’s Jeff was daytime’s first teen romance and one of the soap’s most popular couples.

In 1970, Prinz joined the cast of ABC soap ALL MY CHILDREN as Amy Tyler, and in 1988 she played Sister Mary Joel on RYAN’S HOPE. So even if she limits herself to just her daytime work, this veteran actress would still have plenty to chat about with fans! Don’t miss out on this special conversation!

And don’t forget to check out The Locher Room’s YouTube channel to see all the other fun live chats with soap stars you might have missed! The YouTube shows are also available as audio podcasts and can be found wherever you listen to podcasts on Amazon, Apple, Google, iHeartRadio, Spotify, and Spreaker.
