Adam Harrington Is the New Jagger on GENERAL HOSPITAL!
A fan-favorite character is back with a whole new face! Adam Harrington is the actor taking over the role of John “Jagger” Cates on GENERAL HOSPITAL and he made his debut in the Feb. 2 episode!
Harrington might look familiar to viewers from his numerous appearances in primetime series like QUEER AS FOLK, SHOW ME YOURS, WHISTLER, DEXTER, THE SECRET CIRCLE, and BOSCH. His most recent work was playing Jeff Trammell in episodes of the Netflix series THE LINCOLN LAWYER.
Jagger first appeared on GH back in the ‘90s when Antonio Sabáto Jr. played him from 1992-1994 with a brief return in the fall of 1995. The actor reprised the role in 2008 for the second season of the primetime spinoff GENERAL HOSPITAL: NIGHT SHIFT.
Jagger moved to San Francisco to become a police officer and by his NIGHT SHIFT appearance had become an FBI agent. And he was one of the agents who busted the gun runners, a bust that included Anna, who took a few moments to recognize him. (To be fair, it has been quite a few years and he does look a bit different!)
At this time there is no information regarding how long Jagger’s stay in Port Charles will be so there’s no telling how long Harrington will be on the canvas. So keep watching… and checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for future updates!
