Adam Huss on Nikolas Meeting His Son on GENERAL HOSPITAL

The emotional scenes between Nikolas and Spencer in the Jan. 15 episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL had fans praising the work of both actors involved… or should we say all three? Because many viewers had their hearts melted by the moment when Spencer presented Ace to Nikolas and the toddler reached out to his father and then nestled sweetly into his arms.

“Love this kid,” Adam Huss posted on X/Twitter about his TV son. And Joey and Jay Clay, who play Ace, shared the love right back. “Grateful for my TV Dad,” they responded. 

Huss was also bowled over by the fan response to the powerful scenes on social media. “Damn, you are all bringing me to tears,” he declared. “These scenes were so important for me to get right. Thank you for this love. Wow.”

Of course, the actor was also grateful to his co-stars who helped sell the moment when Nikolas finally met his baby boy. “Getting these scenes right were so important to me because they’re the heart of who Nikolas really is,” Huss explained. “I’m just over the moon at the love. Had two phenomenal actors to pull ‘em off with who gave me every bit of what I needed and more. Nicholas Chavez and The Clay Brothers, but of course!”

The adorable twins who play Baby Ace also received praise for their work, though it wasn’t clear which tot was playing Nikolas’ son in that pivotal scene. “Overwhelmed by the kind comments from today’s episode,” posted their mother, Lana Clay. “Joey and Jay, at just 17 months, have already aced so many incredible scenes. Here’s to many more to come!”
