Anthony Montgomery’s Series Is Now Streaming on Netflix!
During his two-year run as Dr. Andre Maddox on GENERAL HOSPITAL, Anthony Montgomery earned lots of loyal soap fans who have been following his career as the talented actor appears in new projects. And now it turns out that if you missed one of them the first time around, you’re getting a second chance!
“In case you haven’t heard, all four seasons of THE FAMILY BUSINESS are now streaming on Netflix,” Montgomery announced on Instagram. “If y’all didn’t get to see it before, now is your chance! Welcome to the Family!”
THE FAMILY BUSINESS originally aired on BET as an eight-episode limited series in 2018, but returned for three additional seasons that aired from 2020-22. The show centers around the drama of the wealthy Duncan family with Ernie Hudson and Valerie Pettiford starring as the clan’s patriarch and matriarch.
Montgomery joined the cast for the second season of the series back in 2019 playing Brother Elijah and continued to appear as the character all the way through season four. And ABC soap fans who do happen to tune in to the series to see the GH alum will spot another familiar face — ONE LIFE TO LIVE alum Sean Ringgold (Shawn) plays Junior Duncan, the eldest of the Duncan children who is the family’s security specialist.
So if you’re missing Andre on GH, now you can binge THE FAMILY BUSINESS on Netflix and enjoy him in a whole new role on the primetime sudser!
