GENERAL HOSPITAL Alum Billy Miller Books a Mystery Role!

Tags:

It’s been more than a year and a half since Emmy winner Billy Miller exited GENERAL HOSPITAL and his alter ego, Drew Cain, was presumed dead in a plane crash — and Miller’s fans haven’t stopped hoping for one moment since that he would someday return. After all, Drew’s body was never found, and any soap fan worth their salt knows what that means!

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like GH fans hoping that Drew will make a miraculous comeback to seek revenge on Peter — August orchestrated the plane crash, after all — will get their wish anytime soon. But Miller devotees may soon get to see the actor in another project!

While Miller tends to shy away from social media, every now and then his agent, Marnie Sparer, will take to Twitter to share an update about her client. Recently, a fan lamented to Sparer that it has been way too long since Miller’s fans have seen him in action. “We’re almost halfway through the year. When [are] we gonna see our fave Billy Miller somewhere, anywhere?” they tweeted.

As it turns out, Sparer had good news to share with Miller’s supporters! The talent agent shared a photo of the Emmy winner on the Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles with the iconic Paramount water tower in the background, tweeting that “timing is everything” — and that the photo was taken just the day before!

While there’s no word on what the super-secret project is that Miller is working on, his fans seemed to be happy enough to get a morsel of their favorite actor. And what a morsel it was! In the photo, Miller’s face is half covered by a blue bandanna (because: COVID), making his brilliant eyes sparkle even more. And it looks like Miller has let his hair grow quite a bit as well, because his head is full of beautiful blonde curls! “And, before anyone has to ask, the beard remains intact,” added Sparer, complete with a kissy-face emoji.

Before GH, Miller made his daytime debut playing Richie Novak on ALL MY CHILDREN and then took over the role of Billy Abbott on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. Since leaving soaps behind, Miller worked on the Apple TV+ drama series TRUTH BE TOLD. Late last year, the actor listed his Spanish-style hillside “rustic retreat” just above Hollywood Boulevard for a cool $2.3 million, leaving some of his fans worried that he was leaving Hollywood. Hopefully, this new project means that we will be seeing more of Miller in the near future! And rest assured, SoapsInDepth.com will share details as soon as we have them!
