Bree Williamson Previews Her Thrilling New Movie (EXCLUSIVE)

Get ready to see GENERAL HOSPITAL’s former Claudette, Bree Williamson (also Jessica/Tess, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) starring in Lifetime’s new thriller, Mommy Is a Murderer. Premiering Saturday, April 4, the film is about a woman who suspects something amiss about the mother/daughter pair that visit her clothing store. Speaking in character, Williamson related to Soaps In Depth, “I find out about a missing girl who was kidnapped and realize that there are some similarities.”

But what happens next is not what anyone might expect! Williamson gave high praise to the film’s first-time director, Lindsay Hartley (Cara, ALL MY CHILDREN), with whom she’d previously co-starred in The Forgotten Nanny. “With us both being from soaps,” Williamson acknowledged, “we kind of have a shorthand, and we know what’s up.” Also in the film is Redaric Williams (ex-Tyler, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), whom the actress says was “really great. He was the police officer who came to my house.”

Catch Hartley in front of the camera that same weekend in LMN’s Deadly Daughter Switch. In it, she stars as a woman who discovers that the daughter she’s raising isn’t the one she gave birth to and fights to save her family. The soapy tale premieres Friday, April 3.
