During his career, Cameron Mathison (Drew, GENERAL HOSPITAL) has been an actor, a news correspondent, and a talk show host. But now he’ll be adding another credit to his ever-lengthening resume: game show host! “I am so excited to announce that I’m gonna be the host of the all-new show BEAT THE BRIDGE,” he revealed on Instagram. “It is gonna be huge. So many exciting things coming, so stay tuned!”

BEAT THE BRIDGE will premiere on Game Show Network in June, and is based on the BBC series BRIDGE OF LIES. Contestants must cross an enormous interactive bridge by stepping on the correct answers to trivia questions with each step adding money to the pot. But the team can only collect their winnings if they can “beat the bridge” by returning one player back across before time runs out.

However, Mathison is quick to reassure GH fans that this new hosting gig won’t affect his status as Drew on the soap. “Got some questions about how this affects GH?” the actor commented on his own post. “It doesn’t! I already shot BEAT THE BRIDGE last year, so Drew isn’t going anywhere!”

Mathison should be an old pro at juggling multiple jobs by now! Back when he played Ryan on ALL MY CHILDREN, he not only competed on DANCING WITH THE STARS, but began working as a host and correspondent for GOOD MORNING AMERICA. And while co-hosting HOME AND FAMILY on the Hallmark Channel and playing Drew on GH, he was able to shoot movies for Hallmark and Great American Family.

So viewers can continue to enjoy watching Mathison on GH and this summer, get a double dose of him by also watching BEAT THE BRIDGE on Game Show Network! “So excited for you all to see it,” he enthused, “and so grateful to be a part of the GSN family.”
