Check Out a Vintage Commercial Starring Multiple Anthony Gearys!

Soap fans know Anthony Geary best from his long-running Daytime Emmy-winning run as the iconic Luke Spencer on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but the actor has also appeared in television series like ALL IN THE FAMILY, THE MOD SQUAD, STARSKY & HUTCH, HOTEL, MURDER SHE WROTE, and ROSEANNE as well as in films like UHF, Disorderlies, and Night Life.

But like many actors, Geary also did some work in commercials including an absolutely amazing spot recently shared on Instagram by 80svintagevisions for Members Only jackets! In the ad, the actor stars alongside multiple versions of himself as he touts the trendy-at-the-time outerwear.

“I believe in Members Only jackets because they bring out the real me,” Geary says in the commercial. Then a second Geary steps up behind him to add, “The me that’s always on the move.” After a third version of the actor pops up on screen to deliver another line, a fourth steps out and looks… well, not quite right!

After the fourth Geary pulls off a rubber mask to reveal a beautiful blonde model, the GH star warns: “So don’t be fooled by look-alikes. It’s only Members Only if it says so right here.”

Sadly for GH fans, Geary left the soap and retired from acting in 2015, moving to Amsterdam, though he did reprise the role briefly in 2017 to facilitate Jane Elliot’s exit as Tracy. While the character of Luke has been killed off of the soap off-camera, there are still plenty of fans who would love to see Geary back on screen again. Unfortunately, he seems to be really enjoying his retirement!
