Connor on GENERAL HOSPITAL — Everything You Need to Know

Tags:

The character of Connor Bishop on GENERAL HOSPITAL may look familiar because he was a Nikolas look-alike also played by Tyler Christopher, who took on the dual role from October 2004 to January 2005. But if you don’t remember his brief run on GH, we’ll fill you in!

Connor Bishop came to Port Charles to get revenge on Nikolas Cassadine, who he blamed for the death of his wife, Mary Bishop. When Nik was suffering from amnesia, Mary took him in and told him he was her husband who had supposedly been killed in battle while in the military. When the truth came out, Mary went on a psychotic rampage that ended with her death. Connor kidnapped Emily Quartermaine to hurt Nikolas the same way, but she convinced him that this wasn’t what his late wife would have wanted. Still holding Nik responsible, Connor was thrilled to witness him pushing Helena Cassadine over a cliff and blackmailed him until he turned himself in to the police.

Convinced that Helena had survived the fall, Luke Spencer convinced Emily to help teach Connor to act like Nikolas to draw the villainess out of hiding. During his lessons, Connor fell in love with Emily but she continued to inform him she was faithful to Nikolas. While hiding from Helena in a cabin in the woods, Connor tried to force himself on Emily, who hit him over the head and hid in the basement.

Her attempts to fight back were in vain as he broke down the door and violently raped her. She stabbed him in the chest with a screwdriver and went to call for help. Unable to find a phone, she returned to find Connor’s body not where she left it. When she tried to flee the cabin, Connor was on the porch with a gun. As they wrestled over the gun, she got it away from him and shot Connor before he could hurt her again.
