Cosette Abinante Is the New Scout on GENERAL HOSPITAL

Viewers did a double take when Sam entered the bistro with a little girl who ran over to Drew calling him “Daddy.” Yes, there is a new Scout on GENERAL HOSPITAL! The role is now being played by young actress Cosette Abinante. “We can’t wait for everyone to see more of Scout this season!” her mother shared on her daughter’s Instagram.

Abinante’s career is just getting started, but she has already appeared in skits on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE! as well as the movies Twang and Moving On and an episode of SUPERSTORE. GH marks her daytime debut.

Scout Cain was born to Drew and Sam back in 2017, and the role was originally played by a series of twins including Lori and Sevan Andonian and Palmer and Poe Parker. In July 2019, the character was recast with Ella Ramacieri, who last appeared on Dec. 30, 2021, when Drew visited his daughter at Sam’s on New Year’s Eve.

Scout’s parents are no longer together, with Sam now living with Dante and Drew contemplating pursuing a relationship with Carly, but the little girl will always bond them together. And being a soap, who knows what the future may hold… Anything can happen!
