Courtney Fulk Is the Temporary Josslyn Recast on GENERAL HOSPITAL
Fans were surprised to find Josslyn looking a bit different on GENERAL HOSPITAL when they watched the Dec. 18 episode. That’s because actress Courtney Fulk has stepped in to temporarily replace Eden McCoy in the role of Carly’s daughter.
GH marks Fulk’s daytime debut as her previous credits include the television movies Killer Cheer Mom and Student Seduction. She is also slated to be playing Young Sam in the upcoming film Devil’s Ride, which is currently in pre-production.
McCoy was just at the Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday evening celebrating not only GH’s win for Outstanding Drama Series but the soap’s other trophies, including her own for Outstanding Younger Performer.
There has been no official word on what prompted the recast, but just last month, McCoy shared the heartbreaking news that her mother had passed away. And given that GH shoots about a month in advance, it’s likely she took some time off for that reason.
So please join us in welcoming Fulk to Port Charles and wish her all the best as she fills in for McCoy, and we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we hear when McCoy will be back on screen again!
