Cynthia Watros Shares a Message With Nina’s Fans — and Haters!
Say what you will about Nina on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but she’s never boring! Some fans love her while others love to hate her, and portrayer Cynthia Watros continues to enjoy the ride. She recently popped on to social media to share a quick selfie video from her dressing room for the first time in a while to say hello to her fans… and her not-so-fans!
“Well, it’s been a while since I’ve been on here,” she admitted. “I just want to ask how are you? I hope you guys are doing well. Nina has been on some… ride these, what, two weeks. Thank you for all your love and support.”
Watros steps aside and pans her camera over to show off a vase of flowers, laughing as she realizes that she’s also accidentally showing her bra on the back of a chair. “I might just leave this,” she chuckled. “I came in this morning and look what was there. These beautiful flowers.”
After going in for a closeup of the bouquet, the Daytime Emmy Winner expressed her gratitude for all the support. “Thank you guys,” she smiled. “I love you guys so much. You guys always make me feel like a million bucks and truly loved and thank you for just … being bright lights in my life.
“I want to say that it’s been a bumpy ride for Nina,” Watros continued, “but all of you that have supported and loved Nina and me, thank you, thank you. And all of you that are just outraged, thank you. I know that Nina’s not easy to love, but she is lovable.”
Naturally, the replies were filled with love from fans and friends, including some of her GH castmates. “You are truly so talented and wonderful and beautiful,” enthused Katelyn MacMullen (Willow). “I love everything about you!” Viron Weaver (Wiley) declared: “Love you, grandma!”
