Congratulations to GENERAL HOSPITAL star Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) and his co-stars in To the Moon and Back for winning Best Ensemble Cast at the 14th Annual Detroit Trinity International Film Festival! “What an amazing privilege it was to work with you all,” tweeted the film’s writer and director, Nate Hapke. “Thank you for joining me for the adventure. To many, many more! To the moon, and back!”
The award-winning short film stars Zamprogna as Robert Westfield, who as he prepares to eulogize his mother, finds solace in his wife and daughter, played by Danielle Rayne and Julie Romano. Although the Detroit Trinity International Film Festival was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were still screenings, and the awards were still handed out.
“It was such a privilege to be enriched by the collaboration with you as a director,” Hapke said to his cast on Instagram, “and immensely fulfilling to hear you breathe life into this pre-catharsis for me as a writer.” Sadly, for Zamprogna’s fans, there is still currently no way for them to see the GH actor deliver his award-winning performance in To the Moon and Back, but we’ll be sure to let you know if that changes!
