Eden McCoy Says She Now Understands Why GH Fans Love Steve Burton (EXCLUSIVE)

When Steve Burton returned to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Jason a few years back, Eden McCoy (Josslyn) admitted to Soaps In Depth she was a bit taken aback by all of the hoopla surrounding the event. “For three months, everybody on social media was so excited about Steve coming back,” she recalled. “I’d never met him. I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know what was happening! My mom was going crazy, because she loved him growing up and I was like, ‘What is going on?’”

That was back in 2017, of course. Today, McCoy can’t imagine being in Port Charles without the two-time Daytime Emmy winner. “We totally connected immediately,” says the teen, who’s thrilled any time she sees that Josslyn and Jason are sharing scenes. “Every scene that we have is a very important scene. Plus, Steve brings out the best in me. He makes me the best actor I can be, every time.”
