GH Alum Emily Wilson Welcomes a Beautiful Baby Girl!

Please join us in congratulating GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Emily Wilson (ex-Ellie) and her husband, Adhir Kalyan, on the birth of their first child! The couple announced that they were expecting a daughter at the beginning of March, just a few weeks before they welcomed their bundle of joy into the world. Mira Kalyan was born on March 23 and weighed 5 lbs., 7 oz.

The couple both shared the same photos of their newborn on Instagram, one of Kalyan holding Mira in his arms as Wilson embraces them both, and another of Mira laying in her bassinette at Cedars Sinai all swaddled up and wearing a pink beanie with blue stripes and a big bow. So precious!

Naturally, the comments were full of congratulations and well-wishes from fans as well as friends and former co-stars. “Beautiful,” declared GH’s Marc Samuel (Felix) “Congratulations, you too!” And Kristen Alderson (ex-Kiki, GH) called Mira: “Beyond precious!” Teresa Castillo (ex-Sabrina, GH) wrote: “Oh my gosh! Oh, congratulations, you guys. Shane and I are thrilled for you both. Amazing!” THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Melissa Ordway (Abby) exclaimed: “Oh my gosh! She’s absolutely perfect! Love you all! Congratulations!”

GH fans still fondly remember Wilson for her run as Ellie Trout, and with Spinelli back on the canvas more often, some have been hoping that his better half will also make an appearance. But it doesn’t seem particularly likely since Wilson will be kept quite busy with her newest role — that of mommy!

We can’t wait to see more pictures of Mira as she continues to grow and become more and more adorable!
