It’s been a rough year for everyone, but in particular, GENERAL HOSPITAL star Emme Rylan (Lulu), who lost her sister, Lara, to cancer in July. But the actress is holding her head up and staying strong, and that’s thanks to those around her. “This year my have totally kicked my ass but it also reminded me that all that matters are the amazing people in my life,” she shared on Instagram. “My family, friends, and my amazing daytime family.”
Although GH shut down production back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, the soap has returned to work with new protocols in place to keep the cast and crew safe. “So beyond happy to be back filming at GH and getting to see all of those incredibly talented people,” Rylan declared. “Soaking it all in and not taking a second for granted!”
Some of Rylan’s castmates responded with love in the comments to her Instagram post, particularly Finola Hughes (Anna), who expressed her own joy at returning to Port Charles. “I can’t tell you how happy it made me to stand in my mask six feet from you and Kirsten Storms (Maxie) and talk,” the daytime vet exclaimed. “All kinds of happy.”
We hope that everyone at GH continues to remain safe and healthy and bringing us the drama that we’ve all come to love so much!
