Emme Rylan Shares an Update on Returning to GH as Lulu

Tags:

When Dante not only mentioned Lulu but also took Charlotte to visit her mother in the clinic, fans immediately started wondering if Lulu was waking up from her coma and coming back to GENERAL HOSPITAL. And the second question is, who would be playing the character? Well, Emme Rylan, the last actress to portray Lulu Spencer Falconeri, took to her Instagram Stories to share an update with her fans about just that!

“I am getting approximately one million messages asking if Lulu is waking up,” she admitted. “And… I don’t want to ruin storyline ever. I am very much into the integrity of storylines whether I’m in them or not. So I’ve been putting it off and putting it off and putting off talking. Because I’m getting so many messages! I don’t know what to say!”

Admitting that she’s been avoiding talking in her Instagram stories as usual because of all the questions, Rylan decided it was finally time to clear the air. “So basically, the bottom line, no matter what the internet says, I have made it very clear to GH that I am always available to play Lulu should she ever want to wake up. It is my understanding that when they choose to wake her up, they would be calling me. That could always change. Who knows? But that is my understanding. When they want to wake her up, they will call me. That’s as much as I know and I have not heard from them.”

But while Rylan may not know what GH has planned for Lulu, she knows what her own future holds. “I am still an actor,” she assured her fans. “I have some things in the works for later should this strike ever end. Which it will.”

But because of the ongoing actors and writers strike, Rylan and her family have decided to take the opportunity to do some traveling. “So you will notice that I am in lots of different places,” she previewed. “The strike has taken everything down right now so we are gonna use this time to go see family that we haven’t seen. We are just kind of sick of sitting in the house.”

However, the actress wanted to make it clear to fans that she’s still ready to work as soon as Hollywood gets back to business. “Regardless of what city you see me exploring and visiting,” Rylan declared, “that does not mean that I am unavailable for GH or unavailable for any acting work.

“Every time I post that I’m spending extended time in St. Louis there’s just like a million posts and these stories get circulated around that I have left Los Angeles and am therefore no longer in the business,” she added. “And like, everything’s from home now, guys. Meetings, auditions, all that stuff. Most things aren’t filmed in LA. So wherever you see me, I’m still available for work. Okay?”
