Emme Rylan Shares Some Good News With Fans!
When Emme Rylan said goodbye to GENERAL HOSPITAL and her role of Lulu in December, she took a vacation with her family as they traveled around for a while before returning to Los Angeles in February where the actress and mom reported that things were finally starting to get back to normal! “I just dropped off Dakota and Levi to school for the first time in one whole year,” she marveled in a selfie video she took in her car and posted to Instagram on March 8. “What do you hear?’ she asked her audience as she looked around the interior of her vehicle. “Silence in my car. Silence.”
Of course, while nine-year-old Levi and four-year-old daughter Dakota are out of her hair for a bit, 11-year-old Jackson isn’t quite ready yet. “Jackson is still home,” she noted. “His class starts next week.” But getting back to some sense of normality is something Rylan didn’t expect to enjoy so much. “The last year has just been so unimaginable,” she admitted, “I can’t even believe I got to pack a lunch. I remember like, two years ago, when I was like, ‘Ugh, packing lunches is so annoying.’ I got up early. I made them fresh food. Nice, delicious home-cooked lunch. What can I do for you? Goodbye.”
While fans enjoyed the mom’s delighted message, some of Rylan’s former GH castmates did, too! Teresa Castillo (ex-Sabrina) said she was looking forward to doing the same one day, and Michelle Stafford (ex-Nina, now Phyllis, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) cheered her on. And naturally, BFF Kirsten Storms (Maxie) can’t wait for some mommy time! “I love you,” she told Rylan. “And I love that you called me laughing with so much joy… and no shame. I’m so excited for you to have some ‘me time.’ Which will involve hanging out with me sometimes, of course.”
