With the worldwide concern over the COVID-19 virus, better known as Coronavirus, a lot of things are changing, with travel being restricted and events being canceled to avoid bringing large groups of people together. And unfortunately for GENERAL HOSPITAL fans, Linda Rohe has announced that Costal Entertainment is rescheduling a couple of GH Fantasy events that were supposed to take place at the end of March. “We have decided, along with the actors from GH, to postpone next week’s events in Arlington and Raleigh,” she wrote. “We feel due to the current health warnings and concerns that everyone’s safety is of the utmost importance.”
The Arlington, VA, event originally scheduled for Saturday, March 21 will now be held on Saturday, Oct. 24. And the Raleigh, NC event that was supposed to be held on Sunday, March 22, will now be held on Sunday, Oct. 25. But GH stars Roger Howarth (Franco), Eden McCoy (Josslyn), Donnell Turner (Curtis), Wes Ramsey (Peter), Emme Rylan (Lulu), William Lipton (Cameron), and Leslie Charleson (Monica) are all still slated to be in attendance on the new dates. “Please stay well everyone,” Lipton tweeted, “and I can’t wait to see you all in October!”
As the virus continues to spread around the world, look for more and more organizations to continue to reschedule events. So if you’ve got any plans in March or April, please keep checking to make sure those haven’t been canceled or postponed as well. Better to be safe than sorry!
