GENERAL HOSPITAL Actress Robyn Bernard Dead at 64
Daytime alum Robyn Bernard has died at the age of 64. TMZ is reporting that the actress’ body was found early on March 12 in the town of San Jacinto, CA, and was identified by fingerprints. No cause of death has been determined, but an autopsy is planned.
Bernard had roles on television shows like SIMON & SIMON and THE FACTS OF LIFE as well as in films like Diva and Betty Blue, but got her big break when she joined the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL as Terry Brock in 1984.
The daughter of the villainous D.L. Brock, Terry was a singer who had a crush on Frisco and bought Duke’s club after his death. When she landed a recording contract in 1990, Terry left Port Charles to seek fame and fortune.
Bernard’s last acting role was in 2002 when she played a psychologist in the movie Voices From the High School. She did attend the “Past Cast” fan event at the 2014 GH Fan Weekend.
